The Los Angeles Lakers hit the road for Game 3 against the Minnesota Timberwolves tonight. We make our best Lakers vs. Timberwolves player props ahead of the 9:30 p.m. ET (ESPN) tipoff at Target Center in Minneapolis. The Timberwolves are 3-point betting favorites at home, and their moneyline is at least -148 at our best sports betting sites, with the total set at 206 or 206.5.

Conley didn’t score in Game 2, which is why this is the perfect time to take this Over. Because of his poor performance, it seems that oddsmakers have completely forgotten about the 9 points he scored in the series opener. In that game, he went 2-of-3 from 3-point range, and he’s now made at least 2 threes in three of his six games against the Lakers.

This season, Conley averaged 1.8 made 3-pointers at home and on the road. However, he was a 42.1% shooter from beyond the arc at Target Center, as opposed to a 39.9% shooter on the road. The Lakers are 10th in the league in opponent 3-point shooting percentage. But at this price, Conley is worth taking a risk on since he’s had success against the Lakers this season.

🔥 Austin Reaves Under 17.5 points ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Reaves has scored 16 points in each of the first two games of this series. This comes after he averaged 17.7 points per game against the Timberwolves in three regular-season meetings. Considering Reaves averaged 20.2 points per game during the regular season, and he was 0-of-6 from 3-point range in Game 2, it may seem like he has a lot of room for improvement today. However, I’m taking his Under.

Reaves averaged 14.2 field goal attempts per game in the regular season. In the postseason, he’s put up at least 13 shots in both games, yet he’s still struggling to score more than this posted total. Reaves is also worse on the road than he is at home. He averaged 20.6 points per game at home this season, but just 19.8 on the road. It’s not much of a gap, but 1 point could be the difference between this bet hitting or missing.

Look for LeBron James and Luka Doncic to continue to do the majority of the scoring for the Lakers, as Reaves continues to score in the mid-teens. And considering the price for this Under is nearly +100, this is one of the best plays of the game.

Doncic has been the most important piece of the Lakers’ team through the first two games of the postseason. He’s scored at least 31 in both contests, while he’s already pulled down 20 rebounds. In Game 1, he combined for 45 points and rebounds, and in Game 2, he tallied 43. Nothing about Friday’s game suggests he will struggle to hit this mark again.

Doncic’s point total is set at 30.5, which is very high. While he’s likely to top that number, it’s safer to take this combo prop, as it’s unlikely he struggles in both scoring and rebounding in this game. These Lakers vs. Timberwolves games have been so low-scoring that there are plenty of rebounding opportunities, and Doncic is likely to record a double-double again. Doncic will play this game on the road, but he’s been better away from home this season, which is why it’s shocking to see this number so much lower than what he’s posted this postseason.
